Tis' the season of mussel goodness. The new season of baby, blue-lipped mussels are almost ready for the harvesting. Come and help us celebrate these sweet morsels.

We the Mussel Brothers, and our illustrious first mate Kinkawooka Mussels, request your attendance to a gathering we’re having to cheer on a new season.

The Little Brother's Mussel Festival is our inaugural feast for the senses (and bellies). It will be an evening of good vibes, good drinks, and unlimited mussels!

Enjoy a welcome drink along with a serving of fresh oysters on entry, a cooking demonstration and live music. Gorge yourself with an unlimited supply of mussels with our new winter menu choices. All included in your ticket price.

Finish it off with a tasting of local cheeses from White Gold Creamery (or purchase your own shareplate)

Doors open at 3pm.

(We are offering a non-seafood menu for those poor souls who have been dragged along and don't eat seafood.)

The Story

In May/June each year the recent season of blue lipped mussels become big enough for harvesting at the Kinkawooka farms in the Boston Bay, Port Lincoln area of South Australia.

These new mussels are small, but very flavoursome and sweet to taste, and are worthy of a fine celebration!

The Event

To celebrate the new mussel season, the Mussel Brothers and Kinkawooka Shellfish are holding an event in their honour. The Little Brothers, Mussel Festival. Using these new mussels in our famous dishes, along with a paring of craft bears and fine wines, local cheeses and much more, it’s sure to be a night of good memories and great food.
